4/28/2024 0 Comments Wii u emulator other than cemuI'd wager there's probably a fair bit of High-Level Emulation taking place in certain parts "modern" game systems tend to favor this emulation approach in a number of circumstances. Keep building on that, hacking and reverse engineering, and in a year's time, you might have just enough to get where Cemu is now. There was a decent amount of documentation to go off of, so as soon as the Wii U launched, someone could have easily started the groundwork (CPU, memory, etc). It allows PC gamers to enjoy games for these. It's not like the Wii U was a complete black-box full of mysterious mysteries before Cemu came onto the scene. The best Dolphin Emulator alternatives are OpenEmu, Cemu and PrimeHack. We just know something just doesn't sound right, I'm sure he's hiding something from us.Įither way, Decaf will be the future of Wii U emulation, not Cemu. And it makes me wonder, just how on Earth did he manage to create so much compatibility within a short amount of time with Cemu? Is he using code from Decaf? Or could it be that he works for a big corporation with tens of thousands of developers? Or could he be secretly working with Nintendo and using code from the SDKs for the Wii U? We may never know. And we know all too well that anything that's closed source ends up becoming abandoned and never continuing. It just doesn't make any sense as to why Exzap is keeping it closed source. Would rather have the source now it doesn't hurt anyone and takes minimal effort. I know the dev has said the source would be released if the project got to that point, but how solid of a promise is that? People on the internet can just up and disappear with their work. This would be an issue if Cemu is ever abandoned. If you play other games like MK8 or SM3DW, you will see that even at 4k60, the GPU is very under-utilized, and most of the load is on the CPU. BotWs behaviour is really an exception, not the rule. Keep adding more years, and the problem doesn't get any better. Cemu still has significantly higher demands towards the CPU than the GPU, thats just a fact. Heaven forbid there's ever a day when later versions of Windows simply make Cemu incompatible we've already seen hiccups with Windows 10 in limited cases with other emus. Next thing you know, English won't be only language everyone speaks /sīut seriously, if the source never gets released, you get stuck with binaries that are platform specific, and for an emulator that's bound to be incredibly popular, that's just uncool.
